The Patriarchs

ALERT... CLOSING SOON...

OK....

Hmmmm....

Ain't no one out there, and frankly, I've got better things to do than to work a blog like this when no one is posting or participating regularly. So....

Let's stick a fork in it and be done.

Hope you all continue in the study book! it's good, and i'm gonna finish it out but not here.

On the other hand, I am seriously considering writing my own study for a future blog...

Thanks to those who tried this out!

Week 2...

Hey everyone... Welcome to Week 2. It's powerful, and I hope you'll chime in on what you're learning. I need to hear from more of you this week to assure myself that the few of us are not typing into the wind.

Again, please try to comment on three different days each week. Tell us what you're learning, what God is saying to you, or how He is working in your life. Feel free to ask for prayers or to ask questions.

Week 2: Day 3 - A name change

I spent hours making Lego renditions of these stories... Ok. Maybe not. Actually, you can go to the Brick Testament and see some amazing creations of Bible stories. Some are pretty funny.

Roll Call...

Hey everyone! Sound off if you're doing the study with us... So far, I'm aware of the following folks:
• Dawn Reed
• Stacy Reed
• Amy Darcey
• James Darcey
• Carolyn Bakalekos
• Mike Hales
• Kristy Hales
• Carolyn Noble

Are there more of you out there?

Also... just to avoid confusion, please ignore the viewing guides at the beginning of each chapter. Not that anyone would misunderstand what these were if they read the intro... but there are people out there that may get easily confused. Most are blood-related. ;)

Welcome

I'm glad you're going to join us for the Patriarchs Study! We are starting the week of March 6, but you can pick up at anytime! If you haven't yet, pick you up a Bible study book here...

Instructions:
1. The study is 12 weeks and has 5 days of interactive study for each week (you get 2 days off a week!). It will take a lot of self-discipline... especially if you've not done something like this before. Don't give up on it, and don't shortchange the rest of us!
2. Make at least 3 blog comments per week. Find the days in that week that were most meaningful to you, and click on the comment link under that day.
3. Check back often, and read everyone's comments. Respond to other's comments as well. That will help you process and get the most out of the study.
4. Remember, this is INTERACTIVE. You won't get as much out of it if you don't comment and participate.
5. Feel free to ask questions in the comment area as well. I'll try to answer them or refer you if I can't.

I am sure we're all going to learn a lot from the study, and even more from each other as we progress through this!
